Measures to increase fish stocks include:

• quotas: limiting the amount of fish that can be caught and times when fishing can take place.
• larger mesh sizes: so that smaller fish can escape
• decommissioning boats: Reducing the amount of fishing boats
• sanctuaries: wher fishing is banned
