Atoms

- positively charged nucleus, negatively charged electrons

-Electrons orbit nucleus in shells

- atoms form bonds to make molecules or compounds. Atoms gain/lose electrons

- charged atoms aka ions. positive ion and negative ion are sttracted to each other... ionic bond
