Classification

Five Kingdoms:

  • Plants
  • Animals
  • Fungi
  • Protoctists
  • Prokaryotes

Plants contain Chlorophyl and are autotrophs (they are able to make their own food by photosynthesis) Theyre multicellular and have rigid Cell walls.

Animals are heterotrophs. They cant make their own food so they have to move about and find things to eat. They are multicellular but dont have cell walls or chlorophyl

Fungi are saprophytes they feed off dead animals and decaying material. They are multicellular and have a cell wall but dont contain chlorophyl

Protoctists are unicellular (single celled) and have a nucleus

Prokaryotes are unicellular but dont have a nucleus
