Three states of Matter

The Three States Of Matter

Solids : Strong forces of attraction, holds the particles close together

Liquids : Weaker forces of attraction between the particles

Particles are close together but can move past eachother.

Has more energy than particles in a solid- can move in all directions at low speeds.

Gases : No forces of attraction between the particles

Particles have more energy than particles in a liquid and solid.

Are free to move in any direction- moves at high speeds.
