The reciprocal of a number is 1 divided by that number!
Every number has a reciprocal. Except for zero.
1/ x or x-1.
A reciprocal is shown as either
For example,
8 = 1/8
1/8 = 8
When you multiply a number by reciprocal, you get 1.
For example,
8 x 1/8 = 1
