According to Christianity God is -
Independent/apart from his creation (transcendent) see Isaiah 45
Involved with all his creation (immanent)- not just a spectator, this is why prayer is so important
(Isaiah 57:15 - For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I
dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the
spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite)
God is in control but there is free will see Psalm 135:6 - The LORD does whatever pleases him, in
the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.
God is not understandable Romans 11:33 - Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and
knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!
God is personal he is a loving daddy Abba (Romans 8:15 - And by him we cry, "Abba,[ Father.
The Prodigal son.
God is a friend (John 15:15 - I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my
Father I have made known to you)
God is all knowing  Psalm 139:1-6 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
God is loving Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
God is merciful Romans 9:14-16 "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have
compassion on whom I have compassion."
God is wise (Daniel 2) "Our God, your name will be praised forever and forever.
You are all-powerful, and you know everything. You control human events-- you give rulers their
power and take it away, and you are the source of wisdom and knowledge
