TIMELINE OF THE MYCENAEAN AGE
Mycenae lasted from 1,600-1,1500 bce. this is the bronze age.
it's hard to figure out the date, but we figured out from pottery styles in greece and look at egyptian records.
there are 3 period in the mycenaean age
- the early period, (1600- 1,400 bce) where burials were in shaft graves
- the palatial period, (1,400- 1,250 bce) where the palaces were at their peak
- the later period, (1,250-1,150 bce) when the palaces got attacked and eventually abandoned / destroyed.
