Secondary Data

Advantages

Doesn't take long to collect
Take data from the past
Some can be valid eg. Government collected data
May give you an average
Accurate eg. large samples

Disadvantages

Don't know where its come from and how reliable it is
Might have no relevant data
Data can be over complicated
Don't have a full understanding of what the data set is showing
Out of date

Evaluation

Secondary data is data that has been collected by others and not by yourself this, can be really important and useful information that can be collected however it can be unknown as to how old the data is and also how reliable it is.
