Advantages

  • It can be done from the comfort of your own home
  • Saves money on fuel (e.g. petrol or diesel)
  • Easier for those with disabilities such as in wheelchairs or deafness
  • Will be delivered to the home without the need for travel
  • There is usually a larger range of products available
  • No travel time will be needed

Disadvantages

  • Need Credit or Debit card to use
  • Need internet access
  • Parcels can be lost in the post
  • You can't see what your buying or in the case of clothes or shoes check if they fit when buying online
  • Postage charge
  • Sometimes address 's that are not registered cannot be delivered to

Evaluation

Overall, my personal opinion is that shopping online is specifically suited to many people whereas for some I believe the high street would be the better option
