	Advantages Family members can help out and look after each other. There is always someone available to look after the child if needed. Advice is close at hand. There is close family bonding, and can enjoy each others company. Grandparents can see their grandchildren grow up, and children may have cousins to play with.	Disadvantages The family knows all your business. Grandparents may interfere when not needed and correct what you are doing. There may be too many visitors in the home. Lack of privacy and may be disagreements about how to bring up a child.
	Evaluation A large group- i.e. grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins- who all live locally and support one another.
