    • Nuclear Family
      • Both parents are biological for all the children, and live together.
    • Extended Family
      • Same as nuclear family but has been extended by other relatives
    • Reconstitued Family
      • A family that has broken up and the parents remarry, forming a new family unit      (step family)
    • Lone Parent Family
      • Made up of one parent usually the mother and child
    • Shared Care Family
      • Both parents share responsibility rising their child
    • Foster Care
      • Child placed in foster care but parents retain full legal rights and responsibility
    • Adoption
      • A legal arrangement that biological parents give up full rights and responsibility
