Data logger vs human

Advantages

Data loggers can take hundreds of readings a second where a human could take>1
Data loggers can take measurements simultaneously.
Random error cannot be caused by parallax or human reactions. Human reactions reduce resolution of time to the nearest second
Graphs can be generated automatically

Disadvantages

Data loggers can lag/ take minuites to set up
They are considerably more expensive
They require a power supply.

Evaluation

Data loggers are ideal but expensive. Human can minimise inaccuracy by measuring two readings in line with each other so no time is lost moving head. Humans can use fiducial markers. Humans can also be used where there is no power.
