Does anyone know an easy way to remember the types of erosion? I have the re sit at the beining of June? :(

C: Corrasion (Abrasion)

A: Attrition

S: Solution (Corrosion)

H: Hydraulic Action

I always get abrasion and attrition mixed up :(

I think abrasion is the sandpaper effect one... i'm just gonna check...

Yep it is :P yay i got it correct!

And attrition is when the sediment particles smash against each other :D

Try and make them into a rhyme for each letter so maybe Annie (abrasion) ate (attrition) Herberts Apple (hydraulic action)..... and so on., It sounds stupid but it might help.

I know it sounds weird but I made hand actions up to remember them, such as rubbing fists together for abrasion, and hitting them together for attrition

Hi Aimee

What I learnt in yr7 (and still remember so it must work) is putting actions to each of the types of erosion

eg. knocking fists= attrition and rubbing hands=abrasion
