- Why do we get some viruses every year?
- Some viruses are constantly mutating. This causes change to the structure of the virus. The existing antibody no longer fits. The virus goes undetected and so the body becomes infected.
- Flu is a good example of this. Flu vaccines are made every year for the new mutated flu virus.
