They rapidly divide and reproduce whilst releasing toxins inside the body.

White blood cells defend the body against deseases and viruses.

What are the three lines of attack?
1) Ingesting the pathogens, 2) produce antibodies which destroy the bcateria, 3)produce antitoxins nwhich counteract the toxins.

What do some viruses and bacteria do if not desteroyed?
They are resistant bacteria nd they will divide, then all of the bacteria will be resistant to the white blood cells and we will get sick.

What do painkillers do?
They relive symmptoms of the infectious disease but do not kill the pathogens.

What are antibiotics used for?
They are used to help cure bacterial diseases by killing infectious bacteria inside the body.

To Treat non-serious infections, such as mild throat infections.
