      • Wanted to control all German factories and to take their land and money.
      • To have a buffer zone between Germany and France and to make them suffer for what they've done.

      • To create world peace where nations co-operate.
      • Wanted countries to join a League of Nations where all countries would talk about arguments.
    • Llyod George (English)
      • Personally wanted to punish Germany but not too harshly. However, he had nationally stated that he would make Germany pay.
      • Keen for Germany to lose their navy and colonies.
    • Germany lost land in Europe. Their colonies were given to Britain and France.
    • Germany could have 6 battleships and an army of 100,000 men. Germany was not allowed troops in the Rhineland either.
    • Germany had to pay £6.6 billion in reparations for the damage done in the war.
    • Germany had to accept the blame for starting the war. They were forbidden to join the League of Nations or to unite with Austria.
    • Germany does not agree with the Treaty of Versailles.
    • German public thought that France was taking everything away from them.
