    • The biological approach is a perspective that emphasizes the importance of biological properties in the body.
    • A person's genotype is their actual genetic make-up.
      • Phenotype is a the way is gene is expressed through physical, behavioural and psychological.
        • MZ twins have the exact same genotype however could have a completely different phenotype, for example both natuarlly brown haired but one of them dyes their hair blonde.
        • Phenotypes are influenced by the environment.
      • This suggests that human behaviour is both from nature and nurture.
    • The theory of evolution also plays and important role in behaviour.
      • The animals with the best behaviour for surviving passes it on to the next generation.
        • Natural selection.
