  • Solutions and Concentration
    • Equations
      • Concentration- the amount of a substance in a certain volume of a solution
      • The more solute there is in a solution, the more concentrated the solution
      • 1. Concentration
      • 2. Concentration
    • Calculations
      • Titrations are experiments that let you find the volumes of two solutions that are needed to react together completely
        • If you have the concentration of one solution then you can use the volumes from the experiment, along with the reaction equation, to find the concentration of the other solution
      • Conversions
        • To find the concentration in g/dm*3 - you have to find the concentration in mol/dm*3 - then convert the concentration in mol/dm*3 to g/dm*3 using the equation mass = moles x Mr
