- Solutions and Concentration
- Equations
- Concentration- the amount of a substance in a certain volume of a solution
- The more solute there is in a solution, the more concentrated the solution
- 1. Concentration
- 2. Concentration
- Calculations
- Titrations are experiments that let you find the volumes of two solutions that are needed to react together completely
- If you have the concentration of one solution then you can use the volumes from the experiment, along with the reaction equation, to find the concentration of the other solution
- Conversions
- To find the concentration in g/dm*3 - you have to find the concentration in mol/dm*3 - then convert the concentration in mol/dm*3 to g/dm*3 using the equation mass = moles x Mr
- Titrations are experiments that let you find the volumes of two solutions that are needed to react together completely
