Concentration
concentration is measure of how crowded things are
the more solute you dissolve in a given volume, the more crowded the molecules are and the more concentrated the solution
conc can be measure in grams per dm3
concentration= mass of solute/ volume of solution
to convert from g/dm3 to mol/dm3 you just divide the concentration in g/dm3 by the relative formula mass of the solute
a standard solution has a known concentration
example make 250cm3 of a 314 g/dm3 solution of sodium chloride
