      • semi structured interviews: like a job interview, a preset of question but interviewers are free to ask follow up questions

          • straight forward to replicate due to  theur standardised format
          • richness of data can be limited
        • unstructured interviews
          • more flexible
          • may lead to interviewer bias analysis of data is is not straight forward
          • interviewees may lie
