- In 2015, only 5% of the UK adult population attended church on Sundays.
- Sunday school attendance has declined further, with only a few children now attending.
- In 1971, 60% of weddings took place in a church. However, in 2012, only 30% of weddings were held at a Church.

- In 2011, 59.3% of UK's population said that they were Christian. However, a decade later, this had dropped to 46.2%.
- Non-religious believers had increased to 37.2%, whereas in 2011 there was only a quarter.
