    • Aerobic respiration
      • glucose + oxygen = carbon dioxide + water
        • This reaction transfers energy that your cells can use. The energy transfers is vital for everything's that goes on in your body .
        • Carbon dioxide and water are by products by this reaction
      • Mitrocondria is where respiration takes place
    • Anaerobic respiration
      • Glucose = lactic acid
      • If musles work hard enough for a long time they will become fatigued meaning that  you have worked your musles to much
        • Is they don't get enough oxygen then they will respire anaerobically
      • Anaerobic respiration is respiration without oxygen
        • When this takes place in animal cells glucose is incompletely broken down to form lactic acid
          • The breakdown of glucose transfers less energy than anaerobic respiration
      • After exercise oxygen is still needed to break down the lactic acid that hasn't built up
        • The amount of oxygen needed I still known as oxygen dept
      • anaerobic  respiration in plant cells and some microorganums such as yeast results in the production of ethos almandine carbon dioxide
        • Glucose = ethonal + carbon dioxide
    • Effects of exercise
      • The energy that is transfer during respiration is used to enable the muscles in the body to contract
        • if these musles don't be get enough oxygen then they will build up lactic acid and will hurt when they contact
      • your body responds to exercise in may diffrent ways
        • An increase in the heart rate,  in the breathing rate and in the breath volume
        • Glycogen stores in the musles are converted into glucose for cellular respiration
        • The flow of oxygenated blood to the musles increases, providing your body is working aerobically
    • Metabolism and the Liver
      • Metabolism is the sum of all the reactions in the body
      • The nervy transfers by respiration in cells is used by the organism for the continual enzyme controlled process of metabolism the synthesise new molecules
        • Metabolism includes the formation of lipid ,olecules, and the use of glucose and nitrate ions to form amino acids witch are used to synthesise proteins and breakdown excess proteins to form urea.
      • Blood flowing through the musles transports lactic acid to the liver where is is converted back to glucose
