- REQUIREMENTS OF LIGHT
- 1. You get a plant and one plant and cover one of the leaves so it's not open to light
- 2. you then leave this plant out of the sun for a couple of days
- 3. You then take the plants and kill in boiling water then boil in ethanol to remove any colour
- 4. You spread them both out on a tile, the one in the light will contain starch and the one out of light will not as it has not been able to photosynthesise
- 5. this will show that light is essential for photosynthesis
