    • A push factor is something bad about a place which might make people want to migrate
      • An example of this is war.  In countries such as syria millions of people have been forced to leave because of war.

      • Another reason people might want to migrate is to get a higher income because in places such as Poland there is an ageing population and there are not many well paying jobs.

    • A pull factor is something good about a place
      • In England, there are many pull factors such as good jobs, free healthcare and a healthy economy
      • Another example is that in America there is good education, healthcare and good jobs. This attracts people from Mexico
