    • Chest
      • No formal indications
      • Clinical suspicion
      • High trauma
      • Deranged vitals
    • Head
      • Within 1 hr
        • GCS < 13 on initial assessment
        • GCS < 15 2 hrs after event
        • Suspected open/ depressed skull fracture
        • Battle's sign, panda eyes, haemo-tympanum or CSF leak
        • Post-event seizure
        • Focal neurology
        • 2+ episodes of vomiting
      • Within 8 hrs
        • Over 65
        • Bleeding disorder
          • Includes anti-coagulation and some antiplatelets
        • 30+ minutes of retrograde amnesia
        • Dangerous mechanism (RTC, fall >1m/>5 stairs
    • C spine (within 1 hr)
      • GCS < 13 on initial assessment
      • Intubation
      • X rays inadequate
      • X ray looks abnormal or suboptimal
      • Definitive answer needed (e.g. before surgery)
      • Multifocal CT required for assessment
      • Alert and:
        • Over 65
        • Dangerous mechanism
        • Focal neurology or paraesthesia in upper limbs
