        • Spending- nearly 50% spent on non-essentials
        • Employment- avg real wage was 6x as much as 1949
      • Limitations
        • Spending- housing prices almost doubles to 15.6 in 1985
        • Employment- divided wealth. reduces welfare. Unemployment at 10%
