- GRAPHS AND CHARTS
- LINE GRAPHS OR "FREQUENCY POLYGONS" ARE JUST A SET OF POINTS JOINT UP WITH STRAIGHT LINES.
- bar charts = should touch if showing different heights. Should not touch if about different items, i.e. custard, apple etc.
- Bar-line charts is a bar chart except just draw thin lines instead of bars.
- Scatter graphs = points on a graph that look messy (correlation)
- Good Correlation = form a nice line and closely related to each other.
- Poor Correlation= points all over the place and no relation between the things.
- IF LINE UPHILL FROM LEFT TO RIGHT = POSITIVE CORRELATION.
- IF LINE DOWNHILL FROM LEFT TO RIGHT = NEGATIVE CORRELATION, AS ONE THING INCREASES, THE OTHER DECREASES!
- IF LINE UPHILL FROM LEFT TO RIGHT = POSITIVE CORRELATION.
