- place cannula in left paralumbar fossa
- spasmolytic (biscopan)
- remove FB
- leave to empty with a rumen trocar
- Calves
- causes by dietary changes or poor milk clot formation
- ruminal bloat usually older calves caused by failure oesophageal grove to close
