  • Drainage Basin
    • Watershed: Separates different basins (Outline of Drainage Basin).
    • Mouth: A mouth is where the river meets the sea.
    • Tributary: A small river or stream flowing into the larger main river.
    • Confluence: Where two rivers meet (Sort of like a juction).
    • A drainage basin is an area of land drained by a river and its tributaries.
    • River: A river is within the drainage basin.
    • Source: The beginning of a river. The source of a river is normally in the mounatains.
