- Physical factors: climate-affects the type pf land and how much precipitation a country gets . For example Sahel region in Africa doesn't get that much rainfall, so therefore suffer from drought. This affects the crops, which in turn affects farming Natural hazards-such as earthquakes, droughts, can limit future growth and destroy buildings and agriculture, meaning the country will have to invest in recover Landlocked countries-If a country is landlocked then it will be difficult for the country to import goods from other countries and export their own Natural resources-Can help improve a country's level of development
