    • An electric current is the rate of flow of charge
    • The charge on an electron is very, very, very, teeny- weeny small so we use a bigger unit for charge
      • One coulomb is the charge of 6 trillion electrons
        • Current is measured in Coulombs/ second or amps
    • Current = Charge ÷ Time
      • Time = Charge÷ Current
      • Charge = current x time
    • Symbols are : Current = I Charge = Q Time = T
      • I =  Q ÷ T
