    • Extranous Variables
      • Refers to any other variable which is not he IV but affects the DV, essentially nuisance variables
    • Demand Characterristics
      • When the participant attempts to guess the aim of the research and does not act naturally

      • Any unwanted influence from the researcher, unconsciously or consciously, on the DV
    • Standardisation
