- Results: females rated "Good financial prospects” and “good earning capacity” highly. Men rated "good looks" highly. Men preferred younger women who are closer to their fertility peak while women preferred men older than them.
- Conclusion: As it is a cross-cultural study, results support the concept that preferences are biologically innate. Males will choose a younger and fertile females to widen their gene pools. Females are more choosy as they have a bigger investment.
