- Eukaryotes - complex (includes all animal and plant cells)
- Nucleus - contains nuclear envelope - chromatin and nucleolus: nucleolus makes ribosomes
- Lysosomes - contains digestive enzymes to digest invading cells or break down worn components
- Vesicles - transports substances in and out - formed by GA or ER or cell surface
- Ribosomes - floats free in cytoplasm or attached to rER - proteins are made
- Endoplasmic Reticulum - rER and sER - rER covered in ribosomes - synthesises and processes lipids - rER folds and processes proteins made at ribosoms
- Golgi Apparatus - group of fluid filled sacs - vesicles seen at edges of sacs - processes and packages lipids and proteins - also makes lysosomes
- Centriole - hollow cylinders containing ring of microtubules - involved with separation of chromosomes during cell division
- Mitochondrian - oval shaped / double membrane: inner one folds into a cristae - matrix contaisn enzymes for respiration - ATP produced - site of aerobic respiration

- Plasmid - extra loop of DNA floats free in cytoplasm
