      • Method- can claim cause and effect as was highly controlled
        • Was a quasi-expt. so researcher didnt have to manipulate the IV
          • The Strange Stories task validated the Eyes Test
        • Artificial environment lacks ecological validity. Participants sensitive to environment
        • Eyes task low in ecol. validity as only showed stationary eyes not moving, usually see whole moving face
        • Ethical issue of protection from harm as could've been stressful for participants
      • Data- was quantitative meaning could be analysed to show TOM however no qualitative data which could've explained results
      • Sample- was small with 4 autistic, 12 AS and 10 tourette so difficult to generalise.
      • Practical application of developing TOM. However only useful if Eyes Test is proven valid
