nerves are very fast and hormones are a lower action. Nerves act for a short amout of time where as hormones act for a long time.

casues the egg to mature in the ovaries and it stimulates the ovaries to produce oestrogen.

Releases the egg in a girls period

Causes the prituitary gland to prdouce LH and the further release of FSH.
