A sub atomic particle which has no charge and a realtive mass of 1 and is found in the nucleus.

A type of chemical reaction in which electrons are gained.

Salt
A substance formed when a metal replaces the hydrogen of an acid in a neutralisation reaction.

Isotople
One of two or more atoms with the same atomic number but with different numbers of neutrons.

Total number of protons and neutrons found in the nucleus of an atom.
