Sectional groups
Look after their own section of society and are only based upon that section's interest. Members have to be within the same occupation.

Illegal methods: disrupting events, staging a sit-in order etc. They feel there is no other option.

Strikes can be damaging for the government (especially the economy). Government will feel forced.

Raise the profile of the group, gain media attention, attract more support etc.

Legal expertise: the group may bring the case in front of the courts. Secures & protects the rights of their members.

Digital campaigns
Websites are set up to promote their cause, social media used to publicise events and create viral campaigns.

Operates through the capacity of organised groups/interests to articulate popular demands and ensure government responsiveness.
