Are postmodernists for or against a scientific sociology? Why?
Against. They regard natural science as a meta-narrative. Despite it's claim to have access to the truth it's just a big story.

Why would a scientific approach be dangerous in the opinion of postmodernists?
Because it claims a monopoly of truth and therefore excludes other points of view. Hence a scientific sociology not only makes false claims; it is also a form of domination

Are feminists for or against a scientific sociology? Why?
Against. They argue it is a form of domination, since it covertly excludes many groups of women. Also quantitative methods used are oppressive as they cant capture the reality of women's experiences
