?
What is Magnification?
How much bigger the image is than the specimen you are looking at.

How well a microscope can distinguish between 2 point close together.
2 of 7

3 of 7
What is a Light microscope?
Uses light and has a lower resolution than electron microscopes.
4 of 7
What is an electron microscope?
Uses electrons instead of light to form an image. Has 2 types: SEM and TEM.
5 of 7
