M.o.A = beta blocker, vasocnstriction, inhibits angiogenic factor -> induces apoptosis of endothelial cells

A = almost entirely absorbed, 25% reaches systemic circulation via liver metabolism. peak plasma conc. 1-4 hours after administration. Bioavailability increases by up to 50% with food consumption
D = vol. - 4L/kg, 90% plasma protein bound (albumin)

M = high 1st pass by liver. 42% aromatic hydroxylation, 41% N-dealkylation -> side chain oxidation, 17% direct glucuronidation (individual variants)
E = majority via urine
