What is displacement of an object?
Distance something moved with a DIRECTION.

What is the equation for acceleration?
Acceleration (m/s²) = (final velocity - initial velocity (m/s)) ÷ time (s) a = (v - u) ÷ t

How can you increase acceleration?
1) Increase speed (velocity) with same direction e.g. speeding up on motorway 2) Change the direction but keep a constant speed e.g. satellite in orbit.

An object at rest stays at rest, an object moving with a constant velocity stays at this velocity UNLESS EXTERNAL FORCES act on the objects.
