1833 Factory Act
- Children under 9 not allowed to work in factories.
- 9 hours work a day for children aged 9-13.
- 2 hours school a day.
- Factory inspectors appointed.

- No women or children under 10 tow work down a mine.
- Mine inspectors appointed.

- Maximum 10 hours a day for all women and workers under 18.
