• Managing Director:
Directs:  Sales and Marketing Director  Office Services Director  Operations Director. The company is run by the Managing Director assisted by three directors Sales and Marketing, Office Services and Operations.

• Sales and Marketing Director:
 Overseas both sales and marketing functions in head office.  They are responsible for overseeing the supermarkets. • Sales Department:  Sales Department monitors number of each item sold by each supermarket and compares them with target figures

 If certain items are not selling as well in one supermarket than in others, the department will arrange for Sales Manager to visit store and decide what action needs to be taken.

 They advertise the company to try and increase sales.  They identify what items need to be promoted by using sales figures or other information like competitors’ prices.

 Record from sales  Staff wages  Payment to suppliers  Deals with day to day task:  Ordering office supplies  Deals with correspondence  Ensures PLS has goods to sell

 Reconciles delivery notes with purchase orders  Looks after employees:  Recruitment  Welfare  Staff training

• Warehouse:  Responsible for Warehouse and Distribution  They receive store goods delivered by suppliers  Non- perishable and perishable goods store in different locations of warehouse  Load goods required onto Lorries for delivery.
