They were a group set up by to people who didnt trust the goverment. presidents wouldnt improve the lives of working people. They didnt want it published. no success: leaders killed, not in charge goverment, they struggled, 2 bodies dumped in berlin

The putsh means an attempted take over. 12,000 freikorps marched to the centre of berlin, the goverment was forced to flee, it ended with the people in berlin went on strike and made it impossible. shows the WG was weak and couldnt keep control.

the goverment becomes very short with money, printed more money to pay workersand to pay its debts, the more money printed the less it was worth, people loose confidents in german mark, one dollar is worth 200 billion marks,example:egg 8million marks

it effected everyday life because people wanted to get paid in the morning, one dollar is worth 200 billion marks, couldnt carry money around, savings didnt mean anything

hitler his mistake
3,00 soilders marched towards the centre of munich, 100 police blocked the path, nazis ran forward and shouted at police, hitler dislocated his shoulder, he ran but was then arrested 2 days later

was the munich putch a failure?
fail: didnt work- no nazis killed in munich, hitler in prision (under 9 months) success: publicity for hitler and nazis, shows he had support, wrote a book, good speaker at trial lots of people turned up for the trial

hyper inflation: replaced old money with new called rentennmark and old notes for burnt, inflationation was brought under control although people lost there jobs and felt cheated they blamed weimar

french occupation of the ruhr: created serious econmic problems, french left the rurh although unpopular policy in germany. weak goverment.

promised not to invade one another although germans thought stresemann was weak
