I got 80%! Whooo

The main thing is that I've learnt stuff I didn't know before. A really great quiz :)

Never heard of Volcanicity :|

Um... im not sure "For Volcanicity" is actually the correct answer. googled it and that has nothing to do with biology.

Great quiz, thanks :)

umm, mostly good questions, but are you sure you've selected the right answer for Q9? I'm sure its the 2nd anwer, and not volcanicity...

Sorry folks -- glitch with q. 9! :(

70 % too! Very informative, not usually a fan of using these to revise but you may have converted me! :P

I believe the last two answers are

. Gives toughness to muscles, skin, bone, teeth, cartilage, tendons...

. Disulphide Bridges

But it marked them as wrong when I had a go!

Good quiz, however questions 9 and 10 i'm not so sure about. Hydrogen bonds are weak for example in the secondary structure they can be easily broken.

Sophie Williams

Report

Yeah, i thought it would be disulphide bridges too. Are you sure your answer is right??

Alice

Report

Hydrogen bonds are weak bonds individually, but their shear number makes them the strongest.

Although, I would say both are used.

And as for Q3, I believe the quarternary structure is several tertiary structures fitted together.

I would say it would be secondary structure that is the arrangement two or more polypeptides. Or, at a pinch, tertiary structure, where the secondary structure folds in on itself - which would account for more than 2 polypeptides.

lmao volcanicity.

um didnt really test me much most answers were pretty obvious....try making it harder

Ashleigh

80%.. not bad

pretty sure for q10 it is disulphide bridges, hydrogen bonds are fairly weak :/

other than that, a great quiz, i know what i need to revise now :) haha

thanks

Volcanicity....you do know you can change the answers to your quiz? You don't just have to leave them as wrong?

I don't learn very well when it's a question of deciphering the biological answer from VOLCANICITY, an actual biology answer, and 'to annoy you'. Answers by deduction just dont work for me. I have to actually think about it :/
