1) Describe a STAR topology
This is the most common type of topology. It has a layout so that the middle of the topology is a central switch or a hub, and then there are many nodes connected each with their own wire

2) What is a LAN
These are bunch of computer that are linked in close proximity, within small geographical area.

3) What is MAC address
It is a 48 bit address which is expressed as hexadecimal and then is separated into 6 bytes. It is the physical address of the network adapter.

4) Define a Protocol
4) A agreed set of signals, codes and rules for the exchange of data between systems.

5) Why does less people being on a network improve its performance?
5) There is limited bandwidth available, and more people on this network increases the traffic on this bandwidth. Less people means less traffic.

6) Explain the tole of a SSID
6) SSID is a unique identifier fora wireless network, and the wireless client must have THE SAME SSID as the access point to join the network.

7) Describe a Client Server Network topology
7) The clients are computers and they generate requests for the server to handle. The clients generally rely on the server for different resources. The server is a very powerful machine that is designed to perform a specific task.
