What hormones control blood glucose?
Insulin and glucagon

Glucose released into blood by liver. Glucagon makes liver turn glycogen into glucose.

What is type 1 diabetes?
Where the pancreas produces little or no insulin. It can be controlled by insulin therapy

What is type 2 diabetes?
Where a person becomes resistant to their own insulin. It can be controlled by eating a controlled diet and getting regular exercise
