An event organized by a business, such as organizing team building or a meeting.

An event manager is the person who tells people what they need to be doing at the event e.g. facilities manager, Equipment manager. They are also responsible for any meetings or assessments at the event e.g. a risk assessment.

Yes. Without it the event can't go ahaead because if an employee get's hurt then you don't have the insurance to cover the costs if the employee sues you.

No. Public liability is not mandatory but it is important at an event because it is an insurance that will cover you if an attendee tried to sue you.
