what is the difference between the genetic material in a prokaryotic cell and the genetic material in a eukaryotic cell?
in a prokaryote the the genetic material is not enclosed in a nucleus whereas in a eukaryotic the genetic material is enclosed in a nucleus.

they are long protein strands that the bacteria use to move themselves about.
